Delauriere Fine-Champagne Cognac Circa 1920/1940s
An incredibly old bottle of Cognac bottled by Boutilliere Delauriere & Co. Fine-Champagne Cognacs are distilled from grapes sourced only from the prestigious Grande-Champagne and Petite-Champagne sub-regions.
The sole label on this bottle declared "Vieille Reserve" (Old Reserve) indicating that this Cognac perhaps matured for a long period of time in oak casks before bottling.
We estimate this bottle to be from the early 20th Century, likely between 1920 and 1940. Similar bottles have been known to contain vintages of Cognac from the early 1800s.
