Ambassador Crystal Dimple 1940s

A real rarity at auction. Ambassador was originally bottled by Taylor & Ferguson in the 1930's, until they folded after the the second world war and production was taken over by the Bloch Brothers of Glasgow. Documents at the National Archives in Scotland have minutes from this company spanning from 1941-1965, dating the bottle from somewhere in this period. We believe this to be 1940's. The company was later acquired by Hiram Walker, and with it the patent for this unusual bottle shape that they were to give exclusively to one of their products, the famous Haig's Dimple.

Please note condition of lot as shown.

Important Notice

We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.

Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
