A fantastic release from Akuto Ichiro, this 5 Year Old was distilled in 2000, so contains the final vintage from this famous Japanese distillery, and bottled after maturing for 5 years.
Hanyu, is increasingly popular at auction, the distillery was dismantled after closure in 2000 and has quickly taken pride of place alongside Karuizawa as the most in demand Japanese whisky at auction.
