Moroni Medicinal Brandy 1960s
In the latter part of the 19th and early 20th centuries, brandy was considered medicinal. Primarily it was used as a cardiac stimulant as it appeared to increase cardiac output and blood pressure. However it was also recognised as a depressant and was used as a sedative. Reconciling these two actions caused difficulties... which is why it is no longer cosidered medicinal.
This was produced in Milan, Italy we estimate around the 1960s.
