A special release of Lagavulin bottled at 8 years old to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the famous Islay distillery.
A clear favourite at the recent Whisky Auctioneer New Releases tasting, adding an extra layer of smokiness/peatyness not found in the standard 16 year old.
Lagavulin 12 Year Old 2015 Release
A the 2016 bottling of Lagavulin 12 year old, released annually as part of Diageo's Special Release series with the 2016 bottling coinciding with the 200th anniversary of Lagavulin.
The Cask Strength addition to the core range Lagavulin is eagerly awaited each year.
