Bailie Nicol Jarvie Hotel Circa 1913
A stunning old blend bottled for the Baillie Nicol Jarvie Hotel, Aberfoyle, that we believe dates from the 1910s.
1913 has been inscribed in pencil on the label.
Given to an employee on the occassion of his 21st birthday by the owners of the hotel, the bottle has been cared for by three generations of the same family ever since.
Predating the well known blend produced by Glenmorangie from the 1920s, we don't know if there is any link between the two. What we do know is that this is a unique and very special bottle!
Please note overall condition of label and seal as shown in the images.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
