Old Fitzgerald 8 Year Old Prime Lexington Decanter 1960s / Stitzel-Weller
A popular bourbon produced at Stitzel-Weller distillery. This is an older bottling of the 8 year old Prime, bottled in the 1960s. At this time the distillery was still run by the Van Winkle family and this will contain bourbon distilled under the watchful eye of Julian 'Pappy' Van Winkle.
This is the Lexington Decanter, and features the image of a 19th century racehorse of the same name.
The Old Fitzgerald brand is now owned and produced by Heaven Hill, with these older Stitzel-Weller productions becoming real collector's items.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
