Glenfarclas 1956 Pagoda Reserve 59 Year Old
Glenfarclas is one of Speyside's oldest distillerys, and is reknowned for the quality of its sherry casked whiskies. The distillery is one of the last in Scotland to use stills which are directly heated by fire, adding weight to the spirit.
This is part of the decadent Pagoda Reserve Series, bottled for The Whisky Corporation, a high-end trading organisation in Hong Kong and Singapore. This, and its Silver and Brass counterparts complete the trilogy.
Distilled in 1956, when the distillery was still using its own in-house floor maltings (decommissioned in 1972), and bottled at a staggering 59 years of age.
