Macallan 1969 Duncan Taylor 42 Year Old
The following lot is for a truly stunning Macallan bottled by independent bottlers Duncan Taylor.
Duncan Taylor was founded in Glasgow in 1938 as a cask broker and trading company. Its modern history began in 2001 when a former Glendronach employee, Euan Shand, purchased the firm and moved it to Huntly in Aberdeenshire, using the impressive cask portfolio it has amassed over the 20th century to become one of the premier independent bottlers in Scotland.
This Macallan was distilled on 10th September 1969 and was laid to rest in cask #6860. The liquid was bottled 42 years later on 24th January 2012.
This stunning crystal decanter is engraved with hallmarked silver and is presented in a sold oak case alongside two crystal Glencairn glasses.
Unsurprisingly, this incredible bottle from Duncan Taylor is part of the Rarest of the Rare Collection.
Bottle 50 of only 148.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
