Glencadam 1989 Single Cask 28 Year Old

A fantastic 1989 vintage single cask from Glencadam distillery, bottled from cask #7455 in January 2018 and generously donated here by Angus Dundee to raise funds for the Beatson Cancer Charity.

From Angus Dundee:

"Glencadam Distillery is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, and started producing whisky in 1825, almost 200 hundred years ago. Not much has changed since those early days and this charming and unique distillery continues to produce a unique Eastern Highlands style of single malt, very fruity and slightly spicy.

The 28 Year Old is a special single cask expression of Glencadam Highland Single Malt distilled in 1989. The whisky was matured in a refill sherry butt and is bottled at cask strength. It was a very limited edition and not many of the bottle from this original release are still around.

A unique whisky which is a real hidden gem from the Highlands of Scotland."
