Old Southern Home Kentucky Straight Bourbon 1980s
The Old Southern Home brand was originally distilled at W.A. Gaines' Hermitage distillery in Frankfort, but this bottle was likely produced at Old Crow by National Distillers who had acquired the Gaines company by the time this was made. Hermitage distillery was closed and converted into a Chair factory during Prohibition.
Old Crow was also closed down shortly before this was bottled, and National Distillers was purchased by Jim Beam and its production moved there.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
