Macallan 1937 Gordon and MacPhail 1970s
This is one of the first batches of 1937 vintage Macallan that were bottled in the 1970's by Elgin based Gordon and MacPhail. Complete with a red cap, which were originally used for the company's Connoisseurs Choice range at that time.
The amber colour of this liquid is not normally associated with this style of Macallan. An explanation for this is that G&M may not have added colouring to this early batch.
Imported to Italy at some point in the 1980's.
