Named after Speyside's largest town, Elgin which is home to Gordon and MacPhail who produced this blended malt.
This is one of the many places to claim to be the birth place of Montgomery "Scotty" Scott from Star Trek.
This particular bottle was specially selected for Rothes G.C Opening Competition, 5th April 2003.
