Bodegas Lan Rioja Gran Reserva Vina Lanciano 1970
A single vinyard wine from Bodegas Lan's Vina Lanciano vinyard, located in on the La Rioja Alta side of the Alta/Alavesa border.
This Gran Reserva Rioja - a blend of 80% tempranillo, 10% garnacha, 10% mazuelo - has been aged in a combination of French and American Oak Barriques for 30 and 36 months respectively before being aged in bottle a further 96 months in bottle before release in 1984.
Decanter magazine rated the 1970 vintage as 4/5 for the Rioja region.
