Old Elgin 50 Year Old

Distilled in the Winter of 1940 and matured for 50 years prior to being bottled in "The Whisky Capital of Scotland" Elgin. 

This is a 50 year old Speyside single malt, Gordon and MacPhail have bottled Macallan, Glenlivet and Mortlach from this era. This may be one of them but it may not be. 

Bottle number 062. 

Please note the low fill level and that this bottle has a fragile wax seal.
