Brora 1972 Rare Malt 22 Year Old

An absolutely legendary bottling of Brora, released within Diageo's Rare Malt Selection.  The Rare Malt Selection is an historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

It is often said that 1972 Broras are exceptional and this particular bottling is widely regarded as one of the bottles that brought attention to this vintage.  Serge Valentin from whiskyfun.com (a well known Brora afficionado) scored this 97 points, the highest rating he has ever given a whisky (it must be special).

Condition is excellent with the fill level sitting at the lower neck.

Important Notice

We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.

Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
